With Newmarket’s NAP of the day on Saturday coming in, our team have returned with our best of the day to kickstart the week for Carlisle’s card.
It could pay to side with Grant Tuer’s Hart Stopper in Cumbria, following two creditable silver medal performances on his previous duo of starts.
He chased home a rival who was far from disgraced on his next start against some 90+ rated rivals, and so a mark of 72 may still mean the selection is well handicapped.
Also 12lbs below his last winning rating, he has shown that he retains a relative standard of ability in the last month and can get one step higher on the podium on his track debut this afternoon.
Dominic Chapman is senior content writer at Low6 with a passion for horse racing. He provides a NAP and NB every day throughout the week on selected National Hunt and Flat cards in both Britain and Ireland. Additionally, he hosts the Paddock Picks Podcast with former Welsh Grand National-winning pilot, Charlie Poste - the pair interviewing and discussing current racing topics with a special guest every week.
