Curragh: HADMAN | 2:20pm Jebel Ali Racecourse And Stables Anglesey Stakes (Group 3) | Dom’s Pick
Irish Oaks day takes place at the Curragh on Saturday afternoon and we’ve selected our best bet of the day across the sea.
The consistent Hadman makes great appeal here and holds some very strong form, particularly his Gowran Park success which is stacking up very nicely with two subsequent winners and he beat a future gold medalist at Naas last time out.
He continues on an upward curve and a drop back to six furlongs is no cause for concern for a handler in good form of late, having finished third over track-and-trip a month ago behind some potentially handy rivals.
Although he finished behind weekend rival Celtic Times in May, that was over a longer trip and Jim Bolger’s charge had already had two runs under his belt prior to that victory.
This test is more likely to suit the selection who has come on leaps and bounds since his debut and is the selection of Shane Crosse from the two County Kilkenny representatives.
