Doncaster’s NAP: DOUBLE OR BUBBLE | 3:25pm Japan Racing Association Sceptre Fillies’ Stakes (Fillies’ And Mares’ Group 3) | Dom’s Pick
After a cracking second at Goodwood at the end of August, Chris Wall’s filly looks more than capable of winning at this level.
Her only real disappointment to date was in the Duke Of Cambridge at Royal Ascot, however she has been a model of consistency otherwise, either winning or finishing second on her other seven starts.
She has to concede a bit of weight being a four-year-old, but conditions look to be in her favour and she has won over this trip on three occasions before.
NB: FAISAL | 4:30pm I Love Julie Parkes Handicap
John & Thady Gosden’s colt has been raised only 3lb for his Windsor success back in May and even though his reappearance seems belated, he still looks the one to beat here.
He represents solid connections and has done nothing wrong to date, with the form from his Newcastle debut making very pleasant reading.
Hollie Doyle is back in the plate and a mark of 98 could yet still underestimate him.
