The second day of the St Leger Festival gets underway at Doncaster on Thursday, with another seven-race card for punters to sink their teeth into.
The action kicks off in South Yorkshire at 1:10 with a 6f Handicap and concludes at 4:15 with a 1m2f Conditions Stakes.
Our team have scoured through the contests, in hope of pinning down some value across the card.
Here are three picks to consider for the second day of the St Leger Festival at Doncaster.
CITRON MAJOR – 1:10 DONCASTER (15/2 – William Hill)
Under the guidance of Nigel Tinkler, Citron Major could return to form in the 6f Handicap.
The six-year-old finished down the field on his last start in the Silver Trophy Handicap at Ripon, but he did strike at York when only 3lbs lower back in July.
The gelding has a 3lb claimer booked in which could benefit him and his price of 15/2 hints at cracking value in this contest.
SAVE A FOREST – 3:15 DONCASTER (6/1 – Various)
Roger Varian’s Save A Forest could be one to note in the Park Hill Fillies’ Stakes, when looking at her previous experience.
The three-year-old outran her odds of 40/1 to finish fourth in the Oaks, and has won three of her five starts this season.
This is the furthest trip she’s tackled but she could relish the extra distance and her price of 6/1 is some serious value compared to her rivals.
SEVEN BROTHERS – 3:45 DONCASTER (14/1 – bet365)
A big priced outsider in the 7f Handicap, Seven Brothers could well have been underestimated for this contest.
Kevin Ryan’s ran well at Goodwood over this distance last time out, finishing a length behind the winner in second.
The quicker ground here should suit him and he made well have more in the locker over this distance, with his price of 14/1 offering some each-way potential.
