Newmarket trainer George Scott landed two victories at Epsom Downs on Thursday evening as Miss Mulligan and Mellys Flyer secured successes at the Home of the Derby, respectively.

Roger Charlton celebrated a winner with his sole runner on the card as Amalfi Bay justified favourtism under 3lb claimer Thomas Greatrex, seeing off Camhaan as the two pulled well clear of the remainder of the field.

Odds-on fancy Aswan was upset by Ralph Beckett’s Prosperous Voyage for Rob Hornby after David O’Meara’s Mythical Madness took the opener.

The only other winner on the 6-race card was Otago, who ensured connections would toast another track-and-trip victory after his win here a week ago.
