The Woodcote EBF Stakes Flat Race is the first race that takes place on Day One of The Epsom Derby Festival every year at Epsom Downs Racecourse.

About The Race

The Woodcote EBF Stakes Flat Race is a Class 2 European Breeders Fund handicap flat race that serves as the opening race of Ladies Day at The Epsom Derby Festival every year.

Open to horses aged four years old and above, The Woodcote EBF Stakes Flat Race runs 7 furlongs and 3 yards of Epsom Downs Racecourse and featured fourteen runners on the rearranged date last time out.

The last edition of this race offered a prize pool worth £20,000, although this figure is normally twice as much. Here’s how much was assigned to each placement position:
