The Spring Meeting Novice Stakes Flat Race is the fourth race that is run for The Epsom Spring Meeting at Epsom Downs Racecourse every year.

The Epsom Spring Meeting is a single-day horse racing event that offers six unique flat races including The Blue Riband Trials Stakes which grants its winner automatic entry into The Epsom Derby the following June, as well as a share of a £50k prize pool.

The Epsom Spring Meeting is scheduled to commence with The Westminster Handicap Flat Race at 13:45 and conclude with The Walton Downs Handicap Flat race at 16:30.

Thanks to the public land around the racecourse on the Epsom Downs in Surrey, up to 130,000 horse racing fanatics can witness the action at any given time, but if you’re hoping for seats or hospitality, you’ll need to book as soon as possible.

About The Race

The Spring Meeting Novice Stakes Flat Race is a Class 4 flat race for novices that serves as the fourth race of The Epsom Spring Meeting at Epsom Downs Racecourse every April.

Exclusively open to horses aged three and four years old, The Spring Meeting Novice Stakes Flat Race runs 1 mile and 113 yards of Epsom Downs Racecourse and featured just six runners last time out.

12/1 outsider Romanor finished four lengths behind Leader’s Legacy in second place, followed by 5/1 priced Carpe Diem Lady in third place and 7/2 second-favourite Bahar in fourth.
