James Fanshawe’s recruit has two Group 1 successes under her belt already, claiming victories in the Prix Jean Romanet and the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf.
She looks the one to beat in this contest on paper and it would take a top-class performance to topple her.
JOAN OF ARC (5/2) aims to land back-to-back Group 1 successes after the three-year-old landed the Prix de Diane at Chantilly last month.
The Galileo filly was headed at the post in the Irish 1,000 Guineas, but she bounced back in France at the first time of asking.
Aidan O’Brien’s runner has claimed several wins on softer ground and stands a strong chance of landing success here.
She is joined by stablemate and Irish 1,000 Guineas winner EMPRESS JOSEPHINE (11/1), who could return to form here.
LADY BOWTHORPE (3/1) has burst onto the scene this season for William Jarvis, with several consistent efforts in Grouped company.
The five-year-old claimed the Dahlia Stakes on her seasonal reappearance, before chasing Palace Pier home in second in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.
The mare gave a respectable performance at Royal Ascot, claiming second in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes and then ran into fourth in the Falmouth Stakes three weeks ago.
She clearly has some ability and could well be one to consider here.
ZEYAADAH (12/1) returns to Group 1 company following her success in the Hoppings Fillies’ Stakes while Martyn Meade’s TECHNIQUE (40/1) is given another chance at the top level.
