The flat racing season is slowly drawing to a close, but ITV Racing have got another cracking afternoon of action in their schedule on Saturday.
Six races from across Newmarket and Haydock will be shown on ITV4 from 1:50 and concludes with the Cambridgeshire Handicap at 3:40.
Our team have scoured through the contests, in hope of finding some value among the races.
Here are three selections to consider for Saturday’s racing on ITV.
UNITED FRONT – 2:05 Haydock (15/2 – Coral + William Hill)
Under the guidance of Michael Appleby, United Front could be one to note in the one-mile handicap at Haydock.
The gelding has proven to be consistent over several distances, but his best efforts have come over this distance in recent time.
The four-year-old finished a length off the winner at Yarmouth last time out and remains at the same mark, with his price of 15/2 holding some value.
MOKAATIL – 2:40 Haydock (20/1 – bet365 + Coral)
A former value picks winner, Mokaatil could well hint at each-way value in a 5f Handicap at Haydock.
Ian Williams’ gelding has slipped out of form lately but he is dropped back to the minimum distance where he has recorded five of his six career successes.
The six-year-old is back down to his last winning mark and he could well be overpriced at 20/1 in this company.
GO BEARS GO – 3:00 Newmarket (9/1 – bet365)
Representing David Loughnane’s yard, Go Bears Go could be of interest in the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket.
The Kodi Bear colt has been consistent over the sprint distances since landing success on his debut, landing the Railway Stakes at the Curragh before placing in the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes.
He should be competitive in this company, with his price of 9/1 holding some cracking value in this contest
