Hailing from Ralph Beckett’s yard, Albaflora could well be an undetected threat in the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The four-year-old filly carries some decent course form on her two starts in Berkshire, finishing second in the Noel Murless Stakes before landing victory on soft ground in the Listed Buckhounds Stakes.
The daughter of Muhaaraar was mightily impressive that day over C&D, storming clear of her rivals to win by seven lengths.
She has shown her ability to tackle tough conditions and with the recent downpour at the venue, she could well produce a big performance in Group 2 company.
