Be My Sea – 2:10 Lingfield (10/1 – bet365)
A runner that has competed both on the flat and over hurdles this season, Be My Sea could suit the trip in a 2m4f handicap at Lingfield.
The 10-year-old has been running over the longer distances for several years and he has slipped down to an enticing mark.
Tony Carroll’s gelding finished a fair second over two miles at Goodwood in May, before delivering a bold effort to finish in the palaces on the same course three weeks later at 50/1.
He was poor on his last start on the all-weather at Kempton, but he should appreciate the return to turf and the softer conditions should benefit as well.
At the price of 10/1, Be My Sea could push for the places at least here.
