The opening day of the Dante Festival holds Wednesday’s each-way bet, with an intriguing three-year-old from Andrew Balding’s yard potentially holding some value.

Auria showed a fair level of promise on her last outing, making headway in the final furlong to snatch second behind Creative Flair at Ascot last month.

A half-sister to Group winner Beat The Bank and sired by top-class sprinter Muhaarar, her pedigree is clearly eye-catching on paper.

With a current price of 18/1, Auria could well be an undetected threat in the Musidora Stakes at York.
