After a cracking Derby weekend at the beginning of the month, racing returns to Epsom with a six-race card on offer for punters this evening.

The team have taken a look through the card, naming four selections for epsomderby.co.uk’s Lucky 15.

Here is their Lucky 15 for Thursday’s action in Surrey.

Miss Mulligan – 6:01 Epsom (11/2)

A mare that loves the Surrey course, Miss Mulligan could put up a big effort in the Ladies’ Derby Handicap.

The five-year-old won over 1m2f at Epsom last year as well as running into fourth over this trip here, so she could bounce back to winning ways here.

Adayar Epsom

Benacre – 6:36 Epsom (13/8)

A newcomer from Charlie & Mark Johnston’s yard, Benacre could strike on his rules debut for his connections.

The favourite (Self Praise) has struggled to break his duck in his first four starts and if Benacre can show the promise that his pedigree holds, he could well land success here.

Larado – 7:45 Epsom (7/2)

Hailing from Michael Appleby’s yard, Larado could claim victory in the Class 4 7f Handicap.

The gelding ran a cracker at Salisbury over a mile last time out and he could use his course experience (former winner) to his advantage here.

Boy George – 8:50 Epsom (3/1)

A front runner that has shown improvement as of late, Boy George could be the one to beat in the Class 6 1m4f Handicap.

The gelding is in strong form and he remains at a workable mark despite rising up through the weights.
