Many of these have clashed and reversed form with each other form but perhaps the Alan King trained colt is the one to side with given he holds track experience.

Alan King
Can Alan King take Group 1 honours at Newmarket on Saturday afternoon?

His form in pure good ground is very strong and he was only beaten by Perfect Power with a bit of cut in the ground in France, but beat that same rival with ease at Glorious Goodwood back in July.

He looks very overpriced given that he is probably the most consistent two-year-old in the field.

NB: ASTRO KING | 3:40pm bet 365 Cambridgeshire Handicap (Heritage Handicap)

A usually competitive renewal of this contest but the vote goes to Sir Michael Stoute’s Kingman colt who ran a cracker in the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot in June behind Real World, which now looks very strong form.

He wasn’t up to staying the elongated trip at York on his next start but proved that was an out-of-sorts performance when running back to form at the same track a month later, finishing third.

Second that day was Magical Morning, but John & Thady Gosden’s gelding must now concede a further 2lb to the selection which could make him a vulnerable favourite.
