ALCOHOL FREE (7/2) holds favouritism following her success in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot last month.
The dual Group 1 winner has proven her versatility over several ground types and trips and has claimed success on the Rowley Mile circuit here.
She is clearly the one to beat in this field and it would not be a surprise if Andrew Balding’s filly claims another Group 1 scalp here.
SNOW LANTERN (9/2) finished a length and a half behind the favourite at Ascot last month, but she made impressions when dropped in the deep end in Berkshire.
Richard Hannon’s three-year-old has only made four starts to date, marking a rapid level of progression in her short career.
The daughter of Frankel has shot up 15lbs in the ratings after her last run and she is one to watch out for here.
PRIMO BACIO (6/1) finished fourth in the Fred Darling Stakes back in April at the large odds of 100/1 and is another filly that has seen quick progress in the ratings this season.
Starting off at a mark of 79 this season, Ed Walker’s recruit has jumped up a whopping 28lbs in the last three months following two successes in her last three starts.
She claimed some black type at York back in May and could well be open to further progress here.
MOTHER EARTH (13/2) returns to the course for the first time since her 1000 Guineas success back in May for Aidan O’Brien, while William Jarvis’ LADY BOWTHORPE (8/1) is given another shot in Group 1 company after running a cracker to finish second in the Lockinge Stakes.
INDIE ANGEL (12/1) aims to follow up her Duke Of Cambridge Stakes success for John & Thady Gosden and Joseph O’Brien’s PRETTY GORGEOUS (14/1) will need to rediscover her two-year-old form if she is to be competitive here.
Sir Michael Stoute’s QUEEN POWER (14/1) will need to produce a career-best performance in this company while SAFFRON BEACH (14/1) will need to bounce back after finishing a distant eighth in the Oaks last month for Jane Chapple-Hyam.
CHAMPERS ELYSEES (20/1) has yet to build on her promising two-year-old campaign for Johnny Murtagh and the unbeaten JUST BEAUTIFUL (20/1) is given her chance in Grouped company for Ivan Furtado.
Amanda Perrett’s LAVENDER’S BLUE (33/1) and Mick Channon’s ILLYKATO (100/1) complete the field for the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket.
