The penultimate week of the Racing League is upon us, with another six races on offer for punters at Lingfield this evening.
The action kicks off in Surrey at 5:10 with a 5f Handicap and concludes with a 1m4f Handicap at 7:40.
Our team have scoured through the card, in hope of pinning down some value across the contests.
Here are three runners to consider for this evening’s Racing League action.
MARKS BEAR – 5:40 Lingfield (11/2 – bet365)
With two strong runs in the Racing League under his belt already, Marks Bear could well strike again for Team BullionVault in the 6f Handicap.
The gelding has been bumped up 2lbs in the ratings following his success on the all-weather at Lingfield two weeks ago, but he still remains at a winnable mark.
The three-year-old is lightly raced for his age and he could well have more to offer, with his 11/2 price tag holding some appeal.
MAMILLIUS – 6:10 Lingfield (9/1 – bet365)
Another representative from Team BullionVault, Mamillius looks huge value in the 7f handicap.
The eight-year-old makes his Racing League bow after finishing a far from disgraced eighth in the Stewards’ Sprit at the Goodwood Festival last month.
He has been dropped down 6lbs in the rating and the conditions should suit him, with his 9/1 price tag hinting at cracking each-way value here.
ROYAL PLEASURE – 6:40 Lingfield (8/1 – Various)
Newmarket Red have disappointed in the Racing League this year, but they could get back to winning ways with Royal Pleasure in the 7½f Handicap.
The three-year-old has been fairly consistent in handicap company since May, placing in three of his five handicap starts.
The gelding remains at a winnable mark and he could produce a big run here at the pleasant price of 8/1.
