A beautifully bred filly makes the cut for the each-way selection at Newbury on Friday

After finally delivering on her promise at Newmarket just over a week ago, Frankella is stepped up into Listed company for the first time – as she runs in the Irish Rose Bowl Stakes at Newbury.
The filly, who is a daughter of Frankel and out of Arabian Queen, left her first two runs behind her when showing a good attitude on the July course last Thursday.
The two-year-old kept on well in the final stages to record a half-length victory at odds of 20/1.
This is a much tougher assignment here for Andrew Balding’s recruit, but her pedigree screams potential and she could well have more to offer.
At the price of 14/1, Frankella could push into the frame in this contest.
