Unknown Pleasures – 3.55 Nottingham (25/1 – Various)
A big-priced outsider in the Listed Nottinghamshire Oaks, Unknown Pleasures could relish the step up back in grade and trip for David O’Meara.
The filly showed promise under former trainer Jessica Harrington but she joined O’Meara’s yard earlier this year, winning on her stable debut at Beverley over the extended mile two weeks ago.
The four-year-old competed at Group 3 level as a two-year-old, finishing sixth in the Weld Park Stakes.
Her half-sister (Three Bodies) won at 1m2f multiple times while her sire Zoffany has produced several Group 1 winners including last season’s Vincent O’Brien National Stakes winner Thunder Moon.
With a current price tag of 25/1, Unknown Pleasure could prove to be great each-way value if she can rediscover her former promise
