Following an action-packed first three days, the team are back with their three best bets for the fourth day of Royal Ascot.

Friday sees four Group races feature on the card at the Berkshire track, including the Commonwealth Cup and the Coronation Stakes.

After ripping apart the card, the team have made their selections for Friday’s racing at Ascot.

Here are their three best bets for the fourth day of Royal Ascot.

NAP: Ottoman Fleet – 5:35 Ascot (2/1 – bet365)

A smart recruit from Charlie Appleby’s yard, Ottoman Fleet could be the one to beat in the King Edward VII Stakes.

The three-year-old has only made two starts to date, with the gelding impressing in Listed company last time out at Newmarket.

The son of Sea The Stars made light work of his rivals on that occasion, keeping on well in the final stages to land some black type for his connections.

He is fairly unexposed here and Ottoman Fleet could well have more in the locker, making him an interesting selection for this contest

NB: Cachet – 4:20 Ascot (13/2 – Various)

A consistent filly from George Boughey’s yard, Cachet could land her second Group 1 success in the Coronation Stakes.

The three-year-old put up a respectable campaign last season and has made huge strides this year, landing the Nell Gwyn Stakes in April before going on to spring a surprise in the 1,000 Guineas.

She ran a cracker in the French equivalent last month after just being denied by Mangoustine by a head at Longchamp.

The daughter of Acclaim holds a generous price for this contest and the quicker ground on offer should benefit her here.

LONGSHOT: ESPRESSOO – 5:00 Ascot (25/1 – bet365)

Following a progressive start of the season, Epressoo could continue her good form in the Sandringham Stakes for Charlie & Mark Johnston.

The Dark Angel filly has jumped up 18lbs in the ratings since April and she has struck twice in three starts this campaign.

She was headed in the final strides by today’s favourite Heredia on her latest outing at York, but it was still a respectable effort.

The three-year-old has been raised 5lbs for that effort but she could show further improvement here, with her price of 25/1 holding some each-way value.
