The Ballydoyle runner outperformed stablemate and long-time favourite Santa Barbara at Newmarket, using her experience as a two-year-old land victory in the British Classic by a length.
The three-year-old carries course experience, as she finished third in the Albany Stakes last season.
She is joined by stablemate EMPRESS JOSEPHINE (6/1), who caused an upset in the Irish 1000 Guineas when snatching victory on the line at the Curragh.
PRETTY GORGEOUS (9/2) failed to fire on her seasonal reappearance in the same contest, but Joseph O’Brien’s filly holds some useful two-year-old form.
The three-year-old showed plenty of ability in her four Group starts last season, winning the Debutante Stakes and the Fillies’ Mile while placing in the Moyglare Stud Stakes and the Silver Flash Stakes.
She may have needed the run last time out and could be a real threat if she is back on song for this contest at Ascot.
German trainer Peter Schiergen, who landed the 2001 Coronation Cup at Epsom, sends German 1000 Guineas winner NOVEMBA (10/1) to Royal Ascot while Ed Walker’s PRIMO BACIO (6/1) makes only her second start over a mile.
ALCOHOL FREE (12/1) could build on her 1000 Guineas fifth here for Andrew Balding, while Richard Hannon’s SNOW LANTERN (12/1) makes the step-up into Group 1 company for the first time.
POTAPOVA (14/1) has gathered some interest after two dominant victories in two starts under Sir Michael Stoute and SHALE (25/1) will need to revive her two-year-old form to compete here for Donnacha O’Brien.
FEV ROVER (33/1) landed a respectable third in the 1000 Guineas for Richard Fahey, while Ralph Beckett’s LULLABY MOON (40/1) will need to bounce back from a disappointing run in the French equivalent last month.
Henry De Bromhead’s FLIRTING BRIDGE (50/1) was surprisingly supplemented after impressing in the Irish 1,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown and Jessica Harrington’s OODNADATTA (66/1) is given a tough assignment on her seasonal reappearance.
