Wolverhampton’s NAP: CAROLINE DALE | 7:30pm Betway Handicap | Dom’s Pick
Despite winning only one of nine starts, David Loughnane’s filly has placed on three occasions in Class 1 company, including a fine third in the 2020 Queen Mary Stakes.
The handicapper continues to reduce her mark and given how she bounced back to form at this track earlier this month, perhaps a rating of 91 is not overwhelming enough to prevent her picking up a gold medal for the second time.
She’s back in trip to five furlongs but her only success came over this trip so that’s no immediate negative.
NB: DELPH CRESCENT | 8:30pm Heed Your Hunch At Betway Handicap
In an underwhelming contest on paper, it could be best to side with Richard Fahey’s gelding who holds a much stronger record on the all-weather compared to the turf.

Connor Murtagh takes a handy 3lb off his back so he’s effectively 12lb lower than his last winning mark at Southwell in February.
