York Dante Festival: Brunch | 2:40pm Matchbook Betting Podcast Hambleton Handicap | Dom’s Pick [+£13.87 profit on £1 stakes for Flat NAP’s]
Day two of the York Dante Festival gets underway on Thursday afternoon to welcome the midpoint of the popular fixture and our team have identified our best bet of the day.
Unbeaten at the track, a value selection is picked in the form of Michael Dods’s Brunch who landed a quickfire double at the Knavesmire under Callum Rodriquez in July and August 2020, respectively.
He was out of his depth in a Listed contest at Newmarket in October but that was his really underwhelming performance last campaign.
Last seen at Doncaster, he ran a cracker in the Lincoln to finish second and has only been raised 1lbs as a result of that effort.
Still four-years-old, he is still pretty lightly raced and looks to have a solid chance on his return to his favoured track on Thursday.
