The third day of the York Ebor Festival gets underway on Friday, with another seven-race card for punters to sink their teeth into.

The action gets underway on the Knavesmire with a 1m4f Handicap at 1:50 and concludes with a 1m Handicap at 5:10.

Our team have taken a look through the card in hope of pinning down some value across the contests.

Here are three selections to consider for day three of the York Ebor Festival.

ORAZIO – 3:00 YORK (8/1 – Various)

A colt that is open to further improvement, Orazio could be one to note in the Gimcrack Stakes.

Charles Hills’ recruit struck on his debut at Windsor with ease, before giving a respectable effort in Listed company at Newbury when finishing third despite having a wound below his left-fore knee.

He could well have more to offer on his first Group start, with his price of 8/1 holding some appeal at this stage.

UMNEYAAT – 4:40 YORK (7/1 – Coral + Ladbrokes)

Currently under the guidance of Dermot Weld, Umneyaat holds some interest in the 1m2½f Fillies’ Handicap.

The three-year-old broke her maiden at Ballinrobe back in June and she does hold some consistent form previously to that success.

It’s interesting that her connections have opted to travel across the Irish Sea for this contest, with her price of 7/1 catching the eye.

MARSABIT – 5:10 YORK (16/1 – Various)

A handicapper that has been in good form this season, Marsabit could outrun his odds of 16/1 in the 1m Handicap for Hughie Morrison.

The gelding has won three of his last five starts and has jumped up 17lbs in the ratings since April.

She is at a career-high mark and could progress further here, with her odds of 16/1 signalling at cracking each-way value.
